West Dean College are holding a weekend event with an amazing array of workshops for adults and children. I am running these workshops:

Drawing Manga! Japanese style comic art with Karen Rubins

This is a great way to introduce your children to the popular Japanese comic style of Drawing Manga! Karen Rubins is an award winning comics artist who has been making her own comics for the last ten years. She’ll demonstrate step by step how to draw a manga face and give your characters expression and personality. A great start for any budding comic artists out there.

It is advised to book a place in one of the time slots using the website above.

Under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult.

There are also many other events, so please check the website for more!

Gosh! are holding a launch party for three new anthologies. My work is featured in the Score and Script anthology edited by John Miers, along with twenty five other comic creators. The Strumpet and The Comix Reader are both well-established anthologies with a mind-boggling array of great indie comics talent. Between those three publications, there has to be something for everyone. Should be a good night!

Details of all the CityRead events happening in London can be found on the CityRead website.

These workshops are free but booking is required. Please check with the individual library for details.
