Feminism and Libraries: Knowledge is Our Superpower @ The Feminist Library
Jan 31 @ 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm

I’m happy to be part of this event, celebrating libraries, comics and women’s roles in both! There will be a comics drawing workshop with a bunch of awesome cartoonists, comics and magazines to buy, talks, discussions and socialising. If you bring your artwork along as suggested, feel free to ask me for feedback and advice. I will also be selling some of my indie comics and have free comics to give away!

The text below has been nabbed directly from the Facebook event.

The Feminist Library celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2015. Everyone is welcome to join us for the first of a series of commemorative salons.

***The fabulous image for our first 40th anniversary salon is by the artist Suze Shore (http://www.smuze.net/ and http://suzeart.tumblr.com/), one of the authors of My So-called Secrety Identity alongside Prof Will Brooker and Dr Sarah Zaidan (http://ateliermitti.tumblr.com/). Suze kindly donated the image to the Feminist Library to commemorate this event.***
